From NYC to Arizona: The Story Behind Diamond Dots

From NYC to Arizona: The Story Behind Diamond Dots

We met in New York City in 2000—two entrepreneurs, both chasing big dreams. My husband was in jewelry, and I was building my baby gear company. NYC was everything to us: our home, our playground, our hustle.

We built businesses, started a family, and rode the rollercoaster of entrepreneurship—the highs, the lows, the lessons. After two decades in the city, we packed up and moved to Arizona, to start a new chapter. Then COVID hit. Life slowed down. So did we.

And then, something unexpected happened.

One day, I pulled out an old necklace from the late ‘90s—the Miicrocord a design my husband had created during his jewelry heyday. I started wearing it while playing tennis, not thinking much of it. But then, something funny kept happening women on the courts kept asking about it. Again and again. Where did you get that? Can I buy one?

So we tested it out. My husband made 50. I sold them all. Just like that.

Then, an old friend and former colleague came to visit. We hiked the Grand Canyon, talking about life, business, and what comes next. And in that moment, inspiration struck.

What if we took this classic design and reimagined it for today? For women who love simplicity, versatility, and just the right amount of sparkle?

And just like that, Diamond Dots was born.

A classic, reborn. A necklace that doesn’t just sit on your neck—it floats. Effortless. Understated. Striking in its simplicity. A piece that speaks without saying a word.

What started as a forgotten design from the past has become a modern essential—loved by women who appreciate beauty in its purest form.

From New York hustle to Arizona sunsets, from a rediscovered gem to a new era of style—this is our story. And we’re just getting started.

Join us on the journey.
